The aims of EYE
The main goal of the association is:
- Through lifelong learning and cultural heritage, promote the knowledge-based society in Europe.
The aims of association are:
- to promote cooperation and mobility between the European education and training systems;
- to strengthen the contribution of lifelong learning for personal fulfilment, social life, in active European citizenship as well as people with disabilities participation;
- to promote increased involvement of people of all ages in lifelong learning;
- to promote language learning and linguistic diversity;
- to strengthen the role of education, European citizenship awareness, as well as to create a tolerance and respect for other people and culture;
- to enhance cooperation and make good experiences exchange with partner organizations in the fields of education, training and culture in Europe;
- to organize and lead the partnership network between European organizations;
- to promote common cultural values of European and other countries ' citizens;
- to create and develop intercultural dialogue and cooperation with Latvian and other countries organizations to achieve common aim;
- to promote the various cultural and artistic works and products dissemination in Latvia;
- to set up an international information centre for young people with the aim to increase intellectual level of young people;
- to participate in different European international youth and adult education and cultural programmes and projects;
- to organize camps and organize cultural events, festivals, contests for children, young people and adults;
- to organize training courses and seminars, publish booklets, books, articles, which inform about the activities of the association;
- to establish contacts with foreign institutions, to develop and sing the contracts;
- to organize international level events, seminars and conferences.
